“How do I find peace when there is so much to do, so many things that demand my attention?” she cried out to me.

My heart leaped out to her. I knew something of her life.

I realized some she had gone through in the past few years.

And there was more.  Much more.

I understood the loneliness she experienced

  one day after another.

I knew all of this.

And that was just the reason I longed for her to discover a life of peace.

Peace in the midst of the pain.

Peace even though there was no earthly change in her circumstances.

Peace in spite of disappointment, discouragement and death.

Peace the fills every cell of your body with rest and contentment.

Where do we go for that kind of peace?

There is only One

   That can touch those deep down places with His Peace.

Only One.

His Name is Jesus.

Years ago I discovered Him and He changed my life forever.

No matter what happens,

                    or doesn’t happen

No matter where I am

                   or where I am not

No matter what I have

                    or don’t have

He is with me

    giving peace

        eternal

        full and running over.

Long ago Jesus said, “Peace I leave with you;

     My peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you.

     Let not your heart be troubled or afraid.” John 14:27

His peace for our troubles.

His peace for our worries.

His peace for our loss.

He is as close to you now as your very breath.

Waiting for you to let Him have it all.

Longing to give you His Peace.

No more running away,

   No more hiding and pretending.

Peace.

His Peace changes everything

        and every one.

It changes me.

It changes you.
