Always Remember
Words that draw me to attention
and cause my ears
to perk up.
Always Remember
Things my parents used to say.
Be careful to look both ways before crossing the street.
It’s more important who you are than what you do or how you look.
And that
God knows everything.
That last one is one of my all time favorites.
Always remember that God knows everything.
He knows my thoughts
and the longings of my heart.
He knows how hard I’ve tried and also when I’ve been discouraged.
He knows and looks at me with love and grace
while others might easily misjudge and misunderstand.
He knows everything.
He knows my past, my present and all the days to come.
He knows my scars and tends my wounds
and cares about my deepest fears.
He knows when I’m so weary that I’m tempted to give up.
But there He is. Right by my side. Helping me.
Yes, always remember.
Good message. I love that your photo is looking up to remember! 🙂
How kind of you to leave an encouraging comment, Pearl. What a joy to write along with you. 🙂
